OPERATION - General information
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

OPERATION - Before the first use
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Clean all the accessories to remove any residues that may be left from the manufacturing process (see
“Cleaning and maintenance”).
The appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first time.
This is normal and will stop on its own. Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
OPERATION - Use
• Be sure your hair is always washed. When your hair contains
leftovers of fixation products, it can lead to sticky hair after-
wards. Wash your hair with moisturising shampoo and con-
ditioner (preferably one which you don’t have to wash out).
Also be sure that your hair is completely dry before using the
appliance.
1. Make sure that the on/off switch of the appliance is set to
‘OFF’ .
2. Insert the plug in the wall socket.
3. Putt the on/off switch to ‘ON’
4. Take a tuft of hair and comb it through.
5. Hold this tuft of hair, unlock the lock button and place the
hair straightener starting at the hair on top of your head.
6. Close the hair straightener and pull it slowly towards the
end of the hair.
7. Repeat this process until you have the desired result.
8. Switch the appliance off by setting the on/off switch to
‘OFF’.
9. Pull the plug out of the socket.
10. Let the appliance cool down for about 15 minutes before using it again or storing it.
