Product Description
Intended Use
The Bestlift® PL400H and PL400HE allow patients up to 400lbs
to be lifted and transferred safely with minimal physical effort
provided by the operator. The PL400H/HE can lift the patient
with ease from the floor to the bed. The 6 point spreader bar
provides added comfort for the patient while moving from any
surface. The low cost PL400H uses a hydraulic pump to lift up a
patient, while the PL400HE has an electric actuator system. An
upgrade kit is also avalible to upgrade PL400H to a PL400HE.
The PL400H and PL400HE are intended to be used with
patients who are completely immobile or totally dependent
on the patient lift for transfers. The PL400H/HE are intended
to be used for transfers of the patient in and out of bed, their
wheelchair, to and from the commode, or any other type of
surface. The PL400H/HE are intended to be operated by
at least one caregiver, who will perform the lift and transfer.
Transfers should always be done on a flat, dry surface and
are not intended to be used in high humidity environments for
extended amounts of time.
