Install shingles according to the instructions on the wrapper. If you need more detailed

instructions on installing shingles, there are good publications at book stores or newsstands.

Step 25

Install Roofing — Not Supplied in Kit

Install metal roof edging perimeter of the roof area. If you are not installing shingles at this

time, you can purchase felt paper to protect the roof sheathing. Install the felt paper before
you install the metal roof edge.

Install a 52" long x 3-1/2" wide

board with the angle end at the
peak of the roof on rear gable.

Install a 45" long x 3-1/2" wide

board.

Install a 59-1/8"" long 1x4 trim

boards on side wall flush with
back wall trim.

Repeat steps 1-4 for opposite

side
