Typically, the microphone is automatically switched off
when the telecoil is activated, to reduce any background
noise. Your Hearing Care Professional can program the
telecoil to function in combination with the hearing
instrument microphone.

If your hearing instrument is fitted with an Automatic
Telephone program, this system can detect a telepho­
ne signal if a magnet is placed on the receiver of your
telephone.
