11.1 Information on electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC)
Electrical medical devices such as this are subject to special EMC pre-
cautions and must be installed and put into operation in accordance
with the instructions in the operating manual.
OPERON
®
surgical tables are intended for operation in the electromag-
netic environments specified below. The operator of the OR tables must
ensure that they are used only in such environments.
WARNING
Eleoctromagnetic Interference
1. When using the table in the vicinity of high-frequency
surgical equipment, such as cardiac defibrillators and
various types of monitors, refer to the equipment manu-
facturers’ instructions to ensure compatibility issues are
considered.
2. When using the table in the vicinity of neurodiagnostic
monitoring equipment, interference may appear on the
monitoring device. To eliminate this, if interference is
present set the BACKLIGHT TIMER to 1 sec using the serv-
ice software.
