The European directive 2011/65/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal
waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Instruction for use
Place the appliance following carefully the instructions mentioned above.
Plug the supply cord in the supply power.
The appliance will automatically switch on.
The appliance light and the insects will be naturally attracted by the UV light, they will fly to the electric metallic
grid and will be fulminated instantaneously. The insects will fall into the slide base plate.
The appliance’s light is completely safe for humans being.

Cleaning
Before proceeding with cleaning, turn off the appliance by disconnecting the plug from the mains. Remove the
tray by turning it anti-clockwise, pull down and empty it.
In case of constant use of the appliance it is recommended to carry out this operation approximately every 15
days. Refit the tray and turn it clockwise to secure it.
The outer body of the appliance can be cleaned with a cloth slightly moistened with warm water.
Do not clean with thinners, detergents for plastic, glass or similar; could damage the appliance.
Be very careful not to let liquids penetrate. Do not use metal objects to clean the appliance.
