Chapter 3: Installation Procedure
Replacing the Filter
On an as-needed basis or at least annually, replace the filters in the fan and vent.
Order part number BTK3172.100, a package of five replacement filter mats.
Check every two months until you determine the replacement frequency
required in your environment.
The fan and vent filters are accessed from the right side of the enclosure. To
replace a filter:
1. Remove the cover. Pulling up from the bottom of the cover, slide the cover
up. After the cover is removed, note the location of the tabs and holes for
replacing the cover.
2. Pull up on the bottom of the blue tab at the top of the fan to open the
compartment (
).
3. Remove the old filter and insert a new one.
4. Close the compartment.
5. Align the tabs and holes and slide down the cover on the outside of the
enclosure.

Changing the fan or vent filter
Using the Heater and Hygrostat
The optional heater and hygrostat are recommended for colder environments
with higher humidity. The hygrostat determines the temperature and humidity
and turns on the heater if the temperature is below or if the humidity is above
the set point. The hygrostat is installed inside the enclosure on the top right
side, next to the thermostat.
