TROUBLESHOOTING

Sub-assembly
Symptom
Possible cause
Solution
1/ Base
The castor doesn’t lock
in the unfolded position.
The tube is not sufficient
extended or badly
positioned.
The lock no longer
works.
Align the castor
correctly with the base
Check or replace the
locking button.
The magnetic pin doesn't
fit properly.
The pin is not correctly
aligned in the holes
provided.
The pin is twisted.
Align the pin correctly
in the tube adjustment
holes.
Check the condition
of the pin, replace it if
necessary.
2/ Upper Tee
The headrest position
doesn't lock.
The headrest is
not centred on the
horizontal tube.
The tab is damaged.
Centre the headrest by
loosening the clamps.
Change the tab.
The tube from the
base has too much play
relative to the headrest.
The fastening screws are
loose.
Check tightening of the
fastening screws.
3/ Clamp
The clamp doesn't
tighten (the screw
doesn't bite or jumps
when turning the
tightening button).
The button has
separated from the
adjusting screw.
The lower part of the
clamp is disengaged.
The tightening clamp or
screw are worn.
Reglue the tightening
button to the screw.
Tilt the lower part of the
tightening clamp before
screwing it on so that
the screw engages.
Replace worn
components.
Play between the clamp
and horizontal tube is
excessive.
The fastening screws are
loose.
Check tightening of the
retaining screw and/
or internal tightening
screw
