In this menu you can adjust display con-
trast.

DATE AND TIME
In this menu you can change date and time
settings. Please note that the time informa-
tion determined here is used together with
call logging, incoming messages as well as
alarm clock and timers.

Please note that when setting the date and
time initially, the GPS needs to be turned
on and the position needs to be read from
a satellite. For further information about

T i m e z o n e
By selecting Time zone , you can select the
local time, your country uses. The default
time comes to your phone from a satellite
and it is called the standard Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC), i.e. "the Greenwich
Time".
The standard time zone (UTC) shows here
00:00 and you may need to correct it to
match your local time zone. For example,
the common time zone in Central and
Southern Europe and Scandinavia is +1:00.
In Eastern Europe, Finland and Greece the
common time zone is +2:00. Key in your lo-
cal time zone shift with numeric keys.
