3. Fit the 1000mm long concentric pipe to the
first to extend the flue into the roof space using
the clamps provided at each joint and ensure
the inner flue joint is pushed fully home.

4. Fit the concentric air inlet in the roof space,
see diagram opposite. If terminating the air inlet
at low level, ensure it is at least 300mm above
the top surface of any roof insulation.

Note :

It is important that the air inlet is always

kept  clear  and  if  possible  this  should  not
terminate adjacent to the roof access hatch.

5. Measure and cut, (if necessary) the first single
flue  pipe  away  from  the  concentric  flue/air
inlet,  slip  supports  onto  pipes  as  required
(see  the  diagram  in  3.0  Design/Technical  for
typical details), before pushing home firmly the
deburred pipe end into the pipe socket. When
making a joint, mark the socket depth on the
plain end of pipe and check the mark to ensure
the joint is pushed home fully.

6. Repeat the above procedure for any further
pipes/bends etc. until the pipework extends to
the ridge terminal, (temporarily support/secure
the pipe if necessary).

7.  Connect  the  60mm  diam.  single  flue  pipe
to  the  ridge  terminal  using  the  60  x  80mm
adaptor provided. Ensure the vertical pipework
is adequatley supported at the connection to
the ridge terminal.

8.  Visually  inspect  and  check  each  joint  is
pushed home fully. Ensure the flue also has a
minimum continuous fall back to the boiler of
50mm/metre.

9. Permanently secure the concentric and single
flue  pipes  at  approximately  1  metre  centres.
Ensure a bracket is provided adjacent to each
joint on horizontal pipes.

Note :

The flue pipe must

not

 rely on the ridge

terminal for support.
