To replace the wax fi lter:
1. Remove the dome from the instrument.
2. Clean the device.
3. Use the skewer side of the wax removal tool to remove wax fi lter.
4. Screw the tool onto the wax fi lter.
5. Remove the old wax fi lter.
6. Place the old wax fi lter in the center of the wax fi lter wheel.
7. Pull to the side and pull the tool to remove old wax fi lter.
8. Use the other end of the wax fi lter tool to get a new wax fi lter.
9. Remove the wax fi lter tool and ensure a new wax fi lter is attached to the tool.
10. Place the new wax fi lter on the device.
11. Turn the device back and forth and remove. Ensure the new wax fi lter sticks to the device.
12. Put on the dome.
Note: It is not recommended that wax fi lters be reused, as wax fi lters may not reattach securely.
