•   The toaster turns off when the desired toast

colour is achieved and automatically raises
the toast. The toasting process can be
stopped at any time by pressing the Cancel/
Stop button. Unplug the toaster immediately
after use.

Note:

•   Allow the toaster 15-20 seconds to cool

before beginning the next toasting

cycle. This permits the electronically

controlled thermostat to reset for the

next toasting cycle.

•   The metal grills will automatically adjust

to the thickness of the slices.

•   The High lift / bread release lever can

only be locked in the lower position

when the appliance is plugged in.

•   After extended use, crumbs or dust may

block the locking system. To correct

this, simply press down the High lift

/ bread release lever several times

successively to lock it and please refer

to maintenance and cleaning tips.

Warning: Do not leave it unattended when

it is in use as toast may jam or wedge in

the bread carriage.

Caution: Do not use a knife or another

sharp metal tool to remove bread

from the toaster and do not touch the

metal internal parts of the toaster.

Toasting Frozen Bread

To toast frozen bread which has been removed
from a freezer, place one to two slices of frozen
bread into the toasting slots, set the desired
browning setting, lower the high lift lever until
it clicks into place, and then press the Defrost
button, the Defrost button lights up.

Note: Toasting frozen bread takes longer

than toasting defrosted bread.

Reheating Toasted

Bread

This function allows you to reheat toast without
additional toasting. To reheat, place the toasted
bread back into toasting slots, lower the high lift
lever until it clicks into place and then press the
Reheat button, the Reheat button lights up.

Note: When using the reheat function,

keep a close eye on the bread to ensure

it doesn’t burn.

Interrupting Toasting

Process

•    The toaster has a Cancel/Stop function so

that you can interrupt the toasting process at
any time by pressing the Cancel/Stop button.

The bread will automatically pop up. (For

example, if you realize that the settings are
not properly adjusted or if you think the bread
is sufficiently toasted, you can easily cancel
the toasting process.)

•    If the bread jams in the slots and the elements

do not switch off, remove the plug from the
wall outlet and wait for the appliance to cool

down. Then carefully remove the bread from

the toaster slot, taking care not to touch the
heating elements. To remove smaller items, lift

the High lift lever approximately 10mm above

the starting position.

Stopping The Toasting

Process

•    Once toasted, the operating control is

automatically unlocked, the slices of bread
pop up and the toaster stops working.

•    To stop the toaster at any time or cancel the

other functions, press the Cancel/Stop button
and the bread will pop up and the toaster will

      switch off.
