This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless older than 8 and supervised

Place the appliance on a flat level surface, out of reach of children and do not allow
the power cord to overhang the counter or table top.
•
When the appliance is in use do not touch any of the hot surfaces, such as the
steam wand, and the coffee filter holder.
•
Do not operate the Espresso machine without water.
•
Care must be taken when the Espresso Machine is in use to avoid burns from
the sprays of hot water or steam.
•
Do not attempt to fill the water tank during use, this may result in scalding.
Switch off the machine before refilling.
•
Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning and when not in use.
Allow the unit to cool down completely before taking off any parts and
before cleaning.
•
Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug or if the appliance
malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance
to nearest service centre for examination or repair.

Do not immerse the main body in water or any other liquid for cleaning;
this is to prevent electrical shock.
