Belkin® Secure Desktop Controller Unit (DCU) User Manual

2. Normal operation with CAC

CAC status is presented at the right side of the display area (to the right of
the vertical divider line). This area is empty if no device connected to the
Secure KVM CAC Port.

In the following example we will use F1DN104G 4-Port Secure KVM with CAC
enabled for computers #1 and #4 only.



Default display after Belkin Secure DCU and KVM power up. KVM
channel selected is #1. CAC port channel selected is #1. Channels 2 and
3 have an unpowered / unconnected CAC interface as indicated by the
X.



The user uses the up/down buttons to move the arrow to channel #2.



The user presses the “select” push button to select channel #2. Channel
#2 is now selected as indicated by the red cursor. CAC port
automatically enters freeze mode as indicated by blinking D in line #1.
