5. IDENTIFYING CALLERS
5.1
HOW TO READ THE CALLER ID DATA
The "Caller Line Identification" service enables you to see your correspondent's number or name
if it is recorded in your directory. You can also see his or her name if it is transmitted by the
network ("Caller Name Display" service).
Received calls are recorded in a log which stores the last 50 caller numbers along with their
dates and times.
During the call the following network messages are displayed:
- the caller's name if the caller number is stored in your phonebook,
- the caller's name if transmitted by the network,
- the caller's number if transmitted by the network,
- "Withheld" if the correspondent does not allow the number to be presented.
In the Calls List, the following network messages are displayed:
- the caller name if the caller number is stored in your phonebook,
- the caller name or number if transmitted by the network, as well as the date and time of the call.
