Phoning via direct memories

The LCD display
The display shows the number dialled as well as the number of an incoming call.
The first line of the display can contain up to 12 characters, the first 8 being letters
or digits and the last 4 digits only. If the number exceeds 12 characters, you can
view the remaining digits by pressing key

As soon as you lift the handset or press
a chronometer starts to run on the right
side of the display, which gives you the approximate duration of the call, in
minutes and seconds.
The first line of the display also shows the instructions in menu mode. You can
choose the language to be used: English, Dutch, French or German.
The rightĆhand side is reserved for the following icons
time to replace the batteries.
