Installation BAT-F
Release 09 08/2015
Radio technology
Receive sensitivity, transmission power and data rate
according to IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n
The values shown in the following tables show maximum values of the
WLAN module version for high-gain antennas. The values are in no case
to be perceived as a guaranteed property of the overall product. In some
country profiles, the module automatically reduces the data rate and
transmit power downward. This is due to national standards.
Antenna connection
For each WLAN module: 3 × N socket
Range
Up to 12.4 miles (20 km, depending on antenna used, frequency
range and data rate)
Encryption
IEEE 802.11i/WPA2 with passphrase or IEEE 802.1x and
hardware-accelerated AES/TKIP
User authentication with IEEE 802.1x/EAP or LEPS
IEEE-802.1x supplicant in the Client Mode
AES/TKIP
a
WEP

Access Control Lists
WLAN port and protocol filter
RADIUS client and server
Integrated firewall with QoS
Port filter
Protocol filter
IDS and DoS protection
PMK caching and preauthentication for faster roaming with
IEEE 802.1x
a. With encryptions type TKIP and WEP, the device falls back on IEEE 802.11b/g or IEEE
802.11a (depending on frequency).
Frequency range
Support of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz: 2400 MHz to 2483.5 MHz (ISM) and
5170 MHz to 5850 MHz
Modulation technology
22M0F7D (DSSS/OFDM) with 2.4 GHz
20M0G7D (OFDM) with 5 GHz
Radio topology
