User
User
Press the ‘User’ button to view user data:
The 2 buttons on the left tell you the user name and user ID as determined by the router
control system. These are
not
the Windows user name or ID. Again, this is of no relevance
unless you are in a diagnostic situation.
User names are important in lock, protect, and release situations. The user who “owns”
a lock or protect is identified by a user name.
Press ‘Exit’ on the right to return to the menu.
Panel
Press the ‘Panel’ button to view panel data:
The 5 buttons on the left tell you the panel ID, and other useful information about the
panel, in particular, the panel’s IP address. These are useful in a diagnostic situation and
during configuration. This information helps you ensure that you are sending the correct
configuration file to the correct panel.
The panel acquires its IP address through DHCP on the panel/router network of the
system controller.
If the ‘Panel ID’ button is high-tally, you may change the panel ID. Normally, only your
system administrator would do that.
Press ‘Exit’ on the right to return to the menu.
LCD Control
Press the ‘LCD Control’ button to view and change LCD brightness. When you do, the
current LCD button state appears on the 14 left-most buttons:
The 14 buttons on the left occur in pairs
—
one pair for each defined color. The pair shows
high tally and low tally for the color.
You can change high-tally from high to medium brightness and change low tally to
medium or low brightness, as long as high tally is brighter than low tally. (They cannot both
be medium, for instance.)
To change a color’s brightness, select the button for the color you want to change. Press the
up button (next to the arrow) to make it brighter. Press the down (next to the arrow) to
make it darker. When you do the brightness level (“High,” “Medium,” or “Low”) is indicated
on the button:
