XY Mapping Template
XY Mapping Template
This template is shown in XY panel mode.


The purpose of the template is to define button function type across the panel’s buttons
and to assign sources or destinations to
XY buttons ( Source Selection and Destination
Selection buttons), including defining pages of sources and of destinations.
For LCD panels, button text appears on the buttons.

For LED panels, there is no configurable button text.
The template allows the user to map router control button functions onto the G2 Series 1U
Router Control Panel buttons available in a flexible manner. The user can:
• Define button function types for each dynamic (source and destination) button,
• Define the number of and the means of accessing each page of source or destination
selection buttons.
• Allocate specific sources and destinations to individual buttons on each page.

It may be useful to group certain sources together on a page, and a different category
of sources on another page, and so on.
• Assign any router control function to any button to generate custom button layouts.

Note: Ensure that the target router has been configured with all the desired
port names before starting the mapping process.
Note: XY mode assigns Sources to buttons and Destinations to buttons.

BPX mode assigns Crosspoints to buttons.
