1.2 Unpacking Instructions
Immediately upon receiving a fixture, carefully unpack the carton, check the contents to ensure that all
parts are present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain
packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the carton itself shows
signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing materials. In the event that a fixture must be
returned to the factory, it is important that the fixture be returned in the original factory box and packing.

USAGE
•
Mounting and connecting LED strips can only be done by a professional.
•
All LED strips give off heat, and they have to get rid of this heat in order not to be damaged. All LED
strips must therefore be mounted on a metal (aluminum, steel) surface so that cooling is assured. Even
a small interruption of the profile can damage the LED strip.
•
Data LED strips may only be connected by a trained technician who is familiar with these products.
•
These data LED strips must be controlled with the appropriate controllers. These controllers from our
range work: bkl-dataleddriver and bkl-t1000s; these work with a control voltage of 5V.
•
Other 5V Data LED Drivers may work, but then it must be investigated which chipset has happened
before connecting.
•
Never connect a 5V/ 12V or 24V directly to the LED strip. Each Data LED Driver is limited, so make sure
how many meters of data LED strips you are allowed to connect to this driver.
•
LED strips can be cut to length and soldered together again. You can only do this at the designated
places. Cut neatly between the copper connection plates with a sturdy pair of scissors or a good utility
knife in the indicated place.
•
Connecting the LED strips to the power supply and reconnecting the LED strips is done with a cable of
at least 0.5 mm², and solder on the provided points. This must be done by a technician. It is
recommended to provide the connection and the connection with a crimping gaine.
•
The strips are designed to be fed per 5 meters. You cannot connect endlessly, you have to feed again
every 5 meters.
