NOTE:
The battery must be returned to standard position once you
have passed through the door.
8.9 Lifting the patient from a bed
Please proceed in the following way to lift a patient from a bed:
1. Align the SENTA PUR L combination bathing lift with the bed of the patient.
2. Fold back both safety armrests.
3.
If necessary, lower the side rails of the patient’s bed
4. Turn the patient on his/her side.
5. Position the reclining surface or the seat of the SENTA PUR L over the mattress.
6. Engage the brakes of the SENTA PUR L to lock the castors.
7. Now turn the patient onto the reclining surface/seat of the SENTA.
8. Fold the front armrest down, so that the patient can hold onto.
9. Help the patient adopting a sitting position; as soon as the patient is in sitting
position, fold the rear armrest (with backrest cushion) down.
10. Fasten the safety belt.
11. Disengage the parking brakes of the castors
12.
Raise the lift until it can be removed from the patient’s bed.
13. Lower the lift to transport height and drive the patient to the bathroom to
bathe/shower.
CAUTION:
Do not lift the patient/resident higher than necessary.
