The floor brush (5) can be used in two positions, to do this activate the “Carpet/hard
floor” changeover switch (12) by foot:
a. “Carpet/hard floor” changeover switch (12)
: Position for hard
floors (tiles, parquet, etc.), the cleaning brush on the sole is lowered.
b. “Carpet/hard floor” changeover switch (12) : Position for
carpets or carpeting, the cleaning brush is retracted.
1. Turn the upper cable fastener (13) downwards to unwind the mains cord (14) quickly
from the cable fastener (13, 15); insert the mains plug in a power socket.
2. Switch on the vacuum cleaner with the on/off switch (7).
3. Adjust the “Carpet/hard floor” changeover switch (12) according to the floor
covering.
4. When you have finished vacuuming, switch off the vacuum cleaner with the on/off
switch (7).
6.2 Vacuuming table areas, furniture and car seats
Hints and tips:
ƒ Use the crevice nozzle (16) to clean areas which are difficult to reach.

With the upholstery brush (17) you can clean upholstery particularly thoroughly.
1. Press the release button (6) to release the handheld vacuum cleaner (4).
2. To vacuum press the on/off switch (7).
3. When you have finished vacuuming, switch off the vacuum cleaner with the on/off
switch (7).
4. Put the handheld vacuum cleaner (4) back in the base body (3).
