Elements of Lifestyle
Drip tray
Never operate the appliance without water in the
drip tray otherwise the appliance may overheat,
particularly when the cover is
fi
tted. The
fl
avoured
steam evaporates during grilling and adds
fl
avour
to the food and makes it more succulent.
The drip tray can be used as an aroma depot:
when grilling using the grate, you can add ingre-
dients such as herbs, wine, beer, or cognac. The
aromatised steam gives your grilled food a very
special taste.
Before grilling, always
fi
ll the drip tray with water up
to the „MAX“ mark.
Re
fi
ll the drip tray after 1 1/2 to 2 hours with
approx. 1 l water.
When re
fi
lling the drip tray, do not pour water over
the hot heating element but over the opening in the
middle of the grill plate instead.
Cover
First mount the handle of the cover as described in
the package lea
fl
et.
The hook for hanging the cover is hung into the ho-
les of the of the handle. For this purpose, pull the
hooks apart from each other at the ends and hang
the ends into the holes of the handle. To remove
the hook, pull the ends apart lightly.
If you use the appliance as a standalone grill, you
can hang the cover vertically into the appliance.
This means that you hands are free to turn over the
food to be grilled. At the same, the vertical cover
serves wind protection.
