Attach the Base Struts
You will need:
Parts as assembled in Step 4 (base with wheels and bottom pole)
2 x Base Struts (parts 12)
1 x Bolt, Nut & Washers F (M10 x 100mm) - and plastic bolt cap.
2 x Bolts, Nut & Washers G (M8 x 20mm)
Find the hole in the centre of the Bottom Pole (preassembled in part 4 with base and wheels).
Fix two ends of the Base Struts (parts 12) either side of the Bottom Pole using Bolt, Nut & Washers F. Complete with
the plastic bolt cap. The other ends of the Base Struts then attach to the base itself using Bolts G (one for each side)
- secure with Nuts G & two washers - one above and one below.

Complete your Basketball Stand
You will need:
Pre-assembled parts from Step 3 (backboard with ring connected to the top and middle poles)
Pre-assembled Base and Bottom Pole from Steps 4 & 5
1 x Bolt, Nut & Washers E (M10 x 90mm)
Carefully laying your stand on its side, attach the Middle Pole (with backboard, ring etc. attached) to the Bottom
Pole using Bolt, Nut & Washers E.
Using two capable adults, raise the stand so it is standing upright on its
base. Tighten all your nuts once again to make sure everything is secure and
your stand is complete. If you haven’t already done so, follow the instructions on
filling your base to ensure it is weighed down correctly.
