Safety Compliance
The Bedrock UPS.500 has received UL approval for use in a Class I Division 2
hazardous location in accordance with the following documents:
• UL 121201 Edition 9, Nonincendive Electrical Equipment for Use in
Class I and II, Division 2 and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 Hazardous
(Classified) Locations.
• CSA C22.2 No. 213-17, Nonincendive Electrical Equipment for Use
in Class I and II, Division 2 and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2
Hazardous (Classified) Locations, Edition 3.
FCC Testing
The Bedrock UPS.500 has passed testing that demonstrates compliance with the
following Federal Communications Commission (FCC) standard:
• Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) FCC Part 15 Subpart B, Class A
(2016) (Radiated Emissions and AC Mains Conducted Emissions)
EMP Testing
The Bedrock UPS.500 has passed testing that demonstrates that the power supply
is able to withstand transient electromagnetic fields under the following
requirement:
• MIL-STD-461E, Requirements for the Control of Electromagnetic
