Not responding to MIDI commands
- Set MIDI Channel to the same one used by transmitting
controller. Restart pedal. Restore to factory defaults.
Not sending MIDI commands
- Verify pedal MIDI Channel to be the same as the one used by the
receiving device.
MIDI commands are conflicting
- Verify if you use MIDI PC and CC commands, that are
conflicting. Be sure to not send more than one CC number from the supported ones (review Table 3
in the manual). Try to set a dedicated MIDI Channel for each MIDI device (do not use 0=OMNI
because commands intended to other devices might be interpreted by the pedal).
MIDI response has some latency
- Set a dedicated receiving MIDI Channel for pedal. Try to
program transmitted presets with less MIDI messages. For example, if you only intend to use three
CC commands within a preset, be sure your controller does not transmit more of them; deactivate the
ones not used.
MIDI commands are bursting
- If you send commands from controller too fast, this is possible. Try
to leave at leaset one second betwin the commands sent..
Last state (issued with MIDI) is not recalled on power up
- MIDI commands may contain in fact a
packets of commands and the pedal only recalls the very last MIDI command from that series. Re-
send the MIDI command (preset) from the controller to put the pedal in the desired state.
