Checking and Changing Vanes

Remove the vanes.

Measure the height and compare the value against the min spec listed on the maintenance sticker.

If the value is close or at the min spec replace the vanes.

If there any signs of improper wear is present, (I.E. Chipping, diagonal wear or cupping,) replace

the vanes.

Tip: 2.400-2.500 units have 2 vanes per slot. Gently remove the back sets with long pliers.
