TALL BOY CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
To ensure the long-lasting use of your tall boy, wipe down with a damp cloth and use a
soap solution if necessary.
Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Always store the product in a clean dry place.
Maintenance
Check tall boy regularly to ensure that locking devices and components are secure and
working properly.
Always check parts regularly for tightness of screws, nuts and other fasteners – tighten or
replace if required.
To maintain the safety of your tall boy, seek prompt repairs for bent, torn, worn or broken
parts.
Use only those parts and accessories approved by CNP Brands.
WARNING
This product is designed with screw fixings, and they should not be removed after
assembly.
This product when assembled should not be disassembled.
Safety guidelines and instructions must always be followed before making use of this
product, please retain these instructions for future reference.
This product has been designed and manufactured to comply with
AS/NZS 4935:2009.
Ensure the tall boy is only used on a level surface.
Remember to inspect your tall boy regularly for wear or accidental damage, and for the
security of components.
Before using the tall boy ensure all assembly fixings are properly tightened, and
remember to regularly check that they remain so.
Loose screws can pinch parts of the body or catch clothing (string or ribbons on dummies
etc.), and present a danger of strangulation.
If possible, do not place your tall boy next to a radiator or hot air vent.
It is normal when painting or varnishing natural products such as wood or its derivatives
that some variation in colour tone may occur on parts of this product.
This furniture item can become unstable and may topple if climbed upon and can be especially
dangerous to children. Serious injury or death may result.
It is undesirable to place objects of interest to children in view on this type of furniture item, as
children may be tempted to climb to retrieve the objects the result being that the furniture item
may tip and cause injury or death.
This furniture item meets the requirements of AS/NZS 4935. However, even furniture items that
meet these requirements can tip under certain circumstances, especially when placed on
carpet, uneven or sloping flooring, or when subject to extreme use.
Attachment of the furniture item to an appropriate structural component of the building using
suitable means, as advised by a qualified tradesperson, is strongly recommended even for
those furniture items meeting the stability requirements of AS/NZS 4935.
