SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Electric fences must be installed and used in a way
that does not pose any electrical risk to human beings,
animals or their environment.
An electric fence must not be powered by two different
energizers or by independent fence circuits of the same
energizer. If you have two different electric fences, each
must be powered by a different energizer with its own
time base, and the distance between the wires of the
two electric fences must be at least two metres. If
this space has to be closed, this must be done using
electrically non-conductive materials or an insulated
metal separation device.
Barbed wire or other similar wires must never be elec-
trified by an energizer.
Any part of an electric fence installed alongside a public
road must be identified at regular intervals by warning
signs firmly fixed to the fence posts or attached to the
wires of the fence. The warning signs must measure
at least 100mm x 200mm.
The warning signs must comply with standard NF EN
60335-2-76.
Ensure that no flammable material is located close to
the energizer or along the fence line.
Connecting wires that are buried underground must
be placed inside ducts made of insulating materials,
or a high-voltage cable insulated in another way must
be used. You must take care to avoid damage to the
connecting wires due to animals’ hooves or tractor
wheels sinking into the ground.
The connecting wires must not be installed in the same
duct as power cables, communication cables or data
cables.
The connecting wires and electric fence wires must not
pass above overhead power lines or communication
lines.
Insofar as possible, avoid crossing the wires with over-
head power lines. If such a crossing cannot be avoid-
ed, the wires must pass under the power line and if
possible at a right angle to it.
If the connecting wires and/or the electric fence wires
are installed close to an overhead power line, the clear-
ance between the wires and said power line must not
be less than indicated in the table below:

If the connecting wires or the electric fence wires are
installed close to an overhead line, their height above
the ground must not exceed two metres.
This height requirement applies to all sides of the or-
thogonal projection of the conductors located furthest
to the outside of the power line on the surface of the
ground, for a distance of:
– 2 metres for power lines operating at a nominal volt-
age not exceeding 1,000V
– 15 metres for power lines operating at a nominal
voltage exceeding 1,000V
For electric fences designed to prevent birds from
perching on buildings, no fence wires must be earthed
if the fence wires are not connected to metallic parts.
When an electric fence for animals crosses a public
road or way, a non-electrified gate must be provided.
The energizer must be connected to its own earth and
not to the earth of any other system.
Never let children play with an energizer or with the
electric fencing.
The energizers are guaranteed against all
manufacturing defects for two years. The
warranty does not cover problems caused by
incorrect use.
Problems resulting from thunderstorms
(lightning) are not covered by the warranty.
In the event of any problems during and after
the warranty period, contact your reseller.
Keep your invoice. It serves as a warranty.
Once you have unpacked
the various components,
remember to sort the
packaging for recycling.

• Schlagen Sie die Pfähle alle 3–4 Meter rund um den Bereich in den Boden,
den Sie vor Tieren schützen möchten.
• Befestigen Sie das Elektrozaunband, indem Sie es durch die Isolatoren an
den Pfählen führen. Verwenden Sie am ersten und letzten Pfahl einen Band-
verbinder, um das Band am Isolator zu befestigen. Wählen Sie die Höhe, je
nachdem vor welchen Tieren Sie Ihren Gemüsegarten schützen möchten.
Zum Schutz gegen Wild empfehlen wir eine 3. Reihe.
• Befestigen Sie das Schild „Achtung, Elektrozaun“ am Zaun, wenn Ihr Zaun
an einen öffentlichen Weg angrenzt.
