4.7.1 Plug and Play Aware O/S

Set this option to “

Yes”

 to inform AMIBIOS that the operating system can handle plug and

Play (PnP) devices.

4.7.2 Clear NVRAM

Select

 to reset Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD) when you exit Setup, if you

have installed a new add-on and the system reconfiguration has caused such a serious
conflict that the operating system can not boot. Normally, leave this setting

4.7.3 Primary Graphics Adapter

Leave on default setting if you want to use the onboard VGA. If this field is Add-on VGA,
all display cache configurations will not be available.

4.7.4 PCI VGA Palette Snoop

When this option is set to 

Enabled,

 multiple VGA devices operating on different buses can

handle data from the CPU on each set of palette registers on every video device. Bit 5 of the
command register in the PCI device configuration space is the VGA Palette Snoop bit (0 is
disabled). For example: if there are two VGA devices in the computer (one PCI and one ISA)
and the VGA Palette Snoop Bit is:
