Failure to open lid while igniting the grill’s burners
or not waiting 5 minutes to allow gas to clear if the
grill does not light, may result in an explosion, which
could cause serious injury or death.
W ARNING:
Never s tand with your head directly over the grill
when preparing to light the main burners, to preven
possible injur y.

Instructio ns
1. O p en lid while lighting b urner. War ning: Attemp ting to light the b urner with the
lid close d may cause an explosio n. M ake sure th ere are no ob stru ctio ns o f
air flow to the gas unit. Spid ers and inse cts ca n n e st an d clo g th e b urner/
venturi tub e at th e o rifice. A clo gg e d burner tub e can le ad to a fire b ene at h the
ap plian ce.
2. All valves must b e in the O FF p ositio n.
3. O p en n atural gas valve.
4. I gnite o nly the b urner(s) you wish to use. Push and turn co ntrol kno b slowly ab o ut ¼
turn co unter- clo ck wise until a click is he ard. I f ignitio n d o es not o ccur within 5
s e co nds, turn the b urner co ntro l(s) o f f. Wait 5 minute s an d rep e at lighting
instru ctio ns.
