Sterilising and Cleaning Instructions
It is important to follow the
Sterilising and Cleaning
process below
before using
and as part
of your
regular maintenance routine
.
1.
Combine two tablespoons of baking soda with 2 litres of lukewarm water in a
separate container
2.
Remove the Unfiltered Water Chamber from the cooler
3.
Pour the bicarbonate solution into the Water Chamber
4.
Press the Water Dispenser until water pours from the tap
5.
Cycle the bicarbonate solution through the tap and empty into the top water
chamber. Repeat this procedure several times
6.
Turn on the power and leave for at least 4 hours
7.
Drain all the bicarbonate solution until empty
8.
Remove the Drain Plug from underneath the unit to drain any water or solution in
the cooling tank.
This is vital to ensure the solution is expelled from the cooler
9.
While the Drain Plug is open, rinse the unit with 2 litres of clean water to remove any
bicarbonate solution
10.
Refit the top and Water Chamber
11.
Flush clean water through the unit and drain out via the tap. Tilt the unit forward
and backward to expel all water from unit
