8.3

Preparing The Boiler

1. Remove the outer carton.

2. Hinge up the lower door panel (Fig. 16).

3. Remove the outer case fixing screws (Fig. 16). Slide

the outercase upwards to disengage the hooks on the

backplate and remove (Fig. 17).

NOTE: Service Guidance Note Label is fitted to

the inside of the outercase (Fig. 17).

4. Remove the sealing plugs from the copper bends.

5. Remove cardboard transit packaging at the left hand

rear of the boiler before lifting the boiler onto the

support bracket.

6. Stand the boiler on its base by using the rear lower

edge as a pivot.

NOTE: A small amount of water may drain from

the boiler in the upright position.
