4.1 Tare function
Using the tare function the measured value F is gauged in relation to
„0“, similar to a scale balanced at 0 for inding out the net weight.

Display indicates „0“ (the previously indicated
measured value is internally saved as offset).
Enter parameter 1 (display only) in programming line 11 as function
lock in order to prevent unauthorised access.
Reread absolute measured value
Enter parameter 0 ( tare function disabled) in programming line
46. The internal offset is deleted. The display rereads the absolute
measured value again.
Tare operation utilizing the control inputs
Assign the desired function to control input 1 or 2 by entering para-
meter 5 (tare function enabled) in programming lines 31 or 32.
