Fitting the carbon filters
If the appliance is going to be used in recirculation mode then it is
necessary to fit carbon filters. This will help to absorb unpleasant
odours caused by cooking.
IMPORTANT: BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO FIT OR
REMOVE THE CARBON FILTERS, YOU MUST
ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE DISCONNECTED THE
COOKER HOOD FROM YOUR MAINS SUPPLY.
1) Remove the grease filters.
2) The UCF1 carbon filter is a universal filter; you do not require all of
the parts that are supplied with it. For the CAN54SS you will require
parts 1 and 13.
3) Remove part 14 of the carbon filter from part 1 (you do not require
part 14 when installing the carbon filter in this particular model).
4) Insert part 13 into part 1 of the
carbon filter.
