SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
:
Your Baumatic Cooker Hood also has
advanced features. These are:
a)
Reminder to clean the
Metal Grease Filters
After every 30 hours of use, your
cooker hood’s microprocessor will alert
you to clean the metal grease filters.
It
does this by showing a flashing ‘A’
on the display for 5 seconds
.
Please ensure that you clean the
filters. Failing to do this could lead to a
damaged cooker hood and / or a fire
hazard.
To cancel the warning message
after cleaning the filters, switch off the
hood, press and hold the MINUS key
(Key No.2 shown on previous page) for
more than 5 seconds. ‘A’ will appear on
the display. After 5 seconds, this
disappears and the microprocessor will
start a new 30 hour (hours-of-use)
countdown until showing the next alert.
b)
Your Baumatic Cooker
Hood features an ALERT FUNCTION to
tell you that the CARBON FILTERS need
replacing (if fitted).
If your Hood has carbon filters fitted,
these will purify exhaust fumes. In
time, they will need to be replaced.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NEED TO
PRIME YOUR COOKER HOOD TO
ENABLE THIS ALERT TO FUNCTION. To
do this:
1)
Press and hold the ‘
’ for
more than 5 seconds.
2)
If ‘-’ shows on the display, it
means that your cooker hood
is in the process of detecting
its carbon filters.
3)
After 5 seconds, this will
change so that ‘C’ is shown on
the display – meaning that
your cooker hood is using
carbon filters. If it has none
fitted, the ‘-’ will not change.
4)
From now on, after every 120
hours of use, your cooker
hood’s microprocessor will
show a flashing ‘C’ on the
display to indicate that it’s
time to change the carbon
filters.
NOTE-
you should replace the carbon
filters as prompted to ensure that your
cooker hood’s recirculation system is
working at its best and that hygiene is
maximised.
5)
To cancel this alert (IE., when
you want it to reset after you
have changed the carbon
filters, switch off your cooker
hood, press and hold the ‘
’
key for 5 or more seconds.
The letter ‘C’ will show on the
display for 5 seconds. The
microprocessor will then start
a fresh 120 hours-of-usage
countdown before it will show
the alert again.
PLEASE REMEMBER
THAT YOUR BAUMATIC
COOKER HOOD CAN BE
USED EITHER IN
RECIRCULATION MODE
OR IN EXTRACTION
MODE. THE
RECIRCULATION MODE
CALLS FOR THE FITTING
OF CARBON FILTERS.
