DISCOVERING THE REAL TASTE OF FOOD.
Cooking takes place at normal atmospheric pressure at 100ºC. This enables food to retain
its texture, moistness, flavour and colour - unlike cooking with a pressure cooker.
The water in the tank enters the oven via the slope at the bottom
. It is transformed into
steam on coming into contact with a hot surface at the bottom of the oven. You do not need
to add water to your casserole (see recipe book). To give you REAL STEAM COOKING, your
oven is presented with a specially designed casserole dish.
For a dish made up of several vegetables that have different cooking times, you cooking will
be successful if you base your cooking time on the vegetable that takes longest to cook. In
this way you will economise both in time and in handling.
Switching the oven on
When the oven is first switched on, the display will show 12:00 and a symbol, indicting the
time needs setting, blinks.
SETTING THE CLOCK.
To set the time, press on the + and - controls. Keep your finger on the control until the right
time appears. Now press the SET control.
The figures will stop blinking but the two dots will continue to blink.
