• Wear eye protection. This power tool cuts wood; these chips may impact your face.
Specific safety standards
Assure that the maintenance and repair of your power tool by a qualified repair person
using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
Service
• Always verify that the installed accessory is well attached to the router, use the
wrench included to add the required pressure.
• Always work with the proper safety equipment (gloves, goggles, ear protection, safety
shoes and adequate clothing).
• Whenever possible, always use the tool connected to a dust extractor (or shavings) to
avoid health damage.
• If you do not use the adequate extractor, use a proper and certified dust mask for this.
Change the dust mask filter periodically.
• Do not push the router bit too much over the surface or on the sides.
• When changing the accessories, disconnect the power tool from the power source this
will reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally which may cause injuries.
• If an extension cord is needed, pick a suitable one for the power and environment to
be used.
Less than 5 meters must be of 1.0 mm2 section. Above 5 meters, use a certified
extension cord of 2.5 mm2 section. Avoid low voltage that might cause an overheating
on the tool. For outdoors operation, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.

• Only use router bits with a shaft diameter that must
correspond with the diameter of the collet.
• Use router bits which maximum speed is above
the power tool maximum speed.
Attention!
: Unplug the power tool before
replacing the router bit. Avoid accidental
starting of the power tool while handling
the router bit.
1. Press spindle lock (8) and turn the collet tightening nut (6) until the lock engages.
During this procedure, keep the lock pressed.
2. Turn the collet nut with the wrench.
3. Place the shaft of the router bit in the collet.
4. Tighten the collet nut so that the router bit is installed correctly.
5. Turn the nut when replacing the router bit.
This electric router is designed for routing wood. This tool is intended for routing edges,
grooves or holes on wood with different forms, depending on the shape of each router
bit. It can also drill.
Inserting and replacing router bits
When removing the router from its package, verify that all parts and pieces
are there. If one of them is missing, go to the store where you purchased the
product with your proof of purchase and take the complete product with you.
