Preventive Maintenance
Periodic inspection should be made to ensure that the regulator is free from dirt and moisture. The
connections between the regulator and system be checked to ensure that they are clean and tight.
Corrective Maintenance
Due to a protective transparent conformal coating, repair on the circuit board is not recommended. The
circuit board should be replaced.
Warranty and Repair Service
Basler SR6A and SR9A are warranted against defective material and workmanship for 18 months from
the date of shipment from Basler Electric. Units submitted for warranty repair should be returned to Basler
Electric, freight prepaid, with complete description of the installation and the reported troubles. Pre-
arrangement with Basler Electric will assure the fastest possible turnaround time.
Out-of-warranty units should also be returned, freight prepaid, to Basler Electric. Repairs to regulators are
made at a nominal charge, unless the unit is so extensively damaged that complete replacement is
required.
