Operation
• Remove the packaging materials and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly fashion.
• Check the product for completeness and transport damage. In case the product is incomplete
or has been damaged during transportation, contact the store where you purchased the
product.
• Use the product in a dark and wind-free room.
• Connect the mains plug (2) of the insect catcher to a suitable wall socket. The insect catching
device must thereby be in vertical position and the collection tray (5) be positioned on the
bottom.
• The UV LED light (1) lights up and the fan (4) starts operation.
• Once the insects start to approach the UV light, they get sucked in by the fan and then fall
into the collection tray (5) of the insect catcher.
Maintenance and cleaning
• This product does not require maintenance. There are no components located inside the
product you need to maintain. Never open/dismantle the product. Have maintenance and
repairs done by qualified experts or repair shops only.
• Unplug the product from the wall socket before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry and lint-free cloth to clean the housing. Lift the cover (3) up when cleaning the
inside of the housing. After cleaning, attach the cover by slightly applying pressure.
• It is suggested to dispose of the collected insects outdoors (balcony, porch, etc.), since the
product does not kill the insects.
• Turn the collection tray anti-clockwise until it gets released. Dispose of the collected insects.
• Then attach the collection tray to the housing and turn it clockwise until it securely locks into
place. The insect catcher is then ready for use again.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Plug-in UV insect catcher

Intended use
This insect catcher uses UV light to attract flying insects. When approaching the UV light, the
insects get sucked in by a fan and then fall into the collection tray of the product. The product
catches but does not kill insects. By using LED lighting technology, the product saves a great
deal of electricity. Connect the product to a common wall socket (230 V/AC, 50 Hz) in your
home.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.
