• Evaluation of the measurement results
• Selection of the electrical installation material to ensure the shutdown conditions
• IP protection types
• Installation of the electrical installation material
• Type of mains supply network (TN system, IT system, TT system) and the con-
nection conditions that follow from them (classical earthing, protective earthing,
required additional measures, etc.)
If you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not install it
yourself, but entrust the work to a qualified electrician.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permissible
for safety and approval reasons.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! There is
danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Every outlet of the power strip is equipped with a child lock. Only when the prongs
of the power plug are placed into both openings of a socket at the same time will
the child-lock mechanism release the opening.
Nevertheless, take special caution when children are around. Children cannot rec-
ognise the danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical devices. There is a
risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Please handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are
connected to this product.
• If you have doubts about how the product should be operated or how to safely
connect it, consult a trained technician.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair work may be carried out only by an expert or
a specialist workshop.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
b) Connection and Installation
• The product is designed according to protection class I. Do only connected it to
a mains supply with earth contact (or when using a flexible connection cable with
power adapter, connect the product to an earthed mains outlet) only).
• The product may only run on mains voltage (see section „Technical Data“). Never
try to operate the product at another voltage, as this will result in the destruction
of the product.
• The product complies with IP44; it can be mounted and operated in outdoor areas.
However, it is important here to ensure the correct operating position; mount or
place the garden socket only in an upright position with an angle at 90° on a hori-
zontal, flat surface; the base must point towards the ground.
• During installation, all poles must be disconnected from the mains voltage via a
cut-off device (e.g., RCD).
• If the garden power strip is powered via a flexible cable with power adapter, the
mains socket used for connecting must be located near the equipment and easily
accessible.
• Never mount or operate the garden power strip in areas at risk of flooding or in
places where, for example, puddles can form. Put the garden power strip only in
a place where the water can drain; the electrical parts must not be under water
during rainfall.
• Never mount or operate the garden power strip by the pool, swimming pools,
swimming ponds or similar.
• Route the mains cable so that it will not get pinched or kinked or damaged by
sharp edges or exposed to mechanical stress in any other manner.
c) Handling and Use
• Do not use the product in rooms with adverse environmental conditions, where
combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a danger of
explosion!
• Never direct a jet of water from a garden hose or a high-pressure cleaner onto the
garden power strip. Locate the garden power strip where no water from a garden
irrigation system (sprinklers) can hit the garden power strip.
• Never plug in, unplug or operate the product when your hands are damp or wet.
Never touch wet or damp power outlets. There is a risk of a life-threatening electric
shock!
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling the cable. Always only use the
grip area intended for this purpose.
• Disconnect the garden power strip from the mains, if it is not to be used for a while.
• If the garden power strip is put on a ground spike and is powered via a flexible con-
necting cable with adapter, then you have to disconnect it from the mains before
relocating it to a different location.
• Protect the product from exposure to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
vibrations and solvents. Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- has visible damage,
- has tumbled over and water has entered,

2-socket garden power outlet black
Item no. 1463700
Intended Use
The product features 2 earthed safety outlets and is used to power electrical loads such as
fountains, garden lights, etc.
The two electrical outlets can be enabled or disabled by means of a mechanical timer. The
shortest time that can be set is 15 minutes. A sliding switch is used to keep the sockets
switched on whenever needed.
The product is water resistant and suitable for outdoor use (IP44) in private gardens.
The outlet can be operated in a fixed location (for example, bolted to a horizontal concrete
base) or mobile by means of the spike supplied.
See chapter „Technical Data“ for information on connection and the maximal permissible total
power consumption of all electrical loads connected.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Moreo-
ver, the improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc. Please read
the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third
party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.
