• When tightening screws, make sure not to damage any power, gas or water
conduits. Risk of fatal injury!
• Be extra careful when tightening long screws. Long screws can tilt and/or the
product could slip off. This poses a risk of injury.
• Make sure the product cannot slip through your hands during use.
• Secure the work piece with a suitable clamping device (e.g. vice).
• Wait until the drive has come to a complete stop before putting down the product.
• Make sure the on/off switch is at center position when not using the product.
• Turn the product on only when the screw attachment properly interlocks with the
screw.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Always allow
the product to reach room temperature before use. This may take several hours.
• Do not place any containers filled with liquids (e.g. buckets, vases, etc.) in close
proximity to the product. Liquids could enter the housing and hence affect the
electric safety.
• Do not place any open fire sources (e.g. lit candles) in close proximity to the
product.
• The use of electrical devices must be supervised by trained staff in schools,
training centers, hobby and do-it-yourself workshops.
• In industrial facilities, heed all applicable accident prevention regulations for
electrical installations and equipment.
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the (rechargeable) batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used
for a long period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged
(rechargeable) batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin,
therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted (rechargeable)
batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave
(rechargeable) batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets
swallow them.
• All (rechargeable) batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and
new (rechargeable) batteries in the device can lead to (rechargeable) battery
leakage and device damage.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into
fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.

Intended use
The product is intended for tightening and loosening screws. Two AAA batteries provide power
for operation.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

• Make sure the working area is completely clean and sufficiently lit.
• Keep the product away from potentially explosive environments containing e.g.
inflammable liquids, gases or dusts.
• Keep children and other persons away from the product while in use.
• Do not touch any earthed surfaces (e.g. pipes, heaters, stoves, refrigerators).
Risk of electric shock!
• Do not use the product when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol

• Wear safety goggles and, if necessary, additional protective gear, such as dust
mask, skid-proof safety boots, safety helmet, etc.
• Make sure not to turn on the product accidentally when holding or transporting it.
• Ensure secure footing and make sure to keep your balance at all times.
• Hair and clothes can get caught by rotating parts. This poses a risk of injury.
Therefore protect long hair by wearing a hair net. Wear tight fitting clothes when
using the product. Take off jewelry before commencing work.
• When using dust extraction and collection devices, make sure such devices are
properly mounted and connected.
• Do not overload the product. The drive must not come to halt during operation.
• Do not use the product if the on/off switch is defect.
• Check the product for damage prior to each use. If damaged, do not operate the
product. Have it checked by an expert.
• Always hold the product by its insulated gripping surfaces.
• Never touch the product with wet or moist hands.
