5.2 Installation and connection
•
Unpack the device and remove the packing material.
•
Place the device on a flat, safe place which can support its weight and is resistant to
high temperatures.
•
The device may also be hanged. Pull out the hooks and insert the hooks of the chain
included with the device.
•
Ensure the device is securely hanged (check nails, screws, etc.). The device’s weight
should be fully supported.
•
Place the device far from areas where people often pass through.
•
Do not place any flammable liquids, gases or other flammable materials in the
vicinity of the device.
•
Place the device near areas where insects enter, but far from drafty places
(windows, doors).
•
If possible, install the device at a height of 1.5-2 meters, in a dark area of the room.
•
Keep conductive materials far from the device. Never insert any kind of metallic
material into the device or the metal netting, especially when it is turned on.
•
Never place the device on a flammable surface.
•
Do not place the device near an open flame, electric heater, oven or other heat
source.
•
The circuit of the socket in which the plug is inserted must be secured to a minimum
of 16A. Connect the device directly to a wall socket; do not use extension cords or
power strips.
•
Locate the device so that the plug is easily accessible and in case of need can be
quickly disconnected.
