5.2 Operation

before the first use wash the device according to instructions in section 6 “Cleaning

and descaling”

Pour required amount of fresh water to the device (only up to “MAX” mark).

It is important that the potable water is always present in the tank during the device

operation. Do not fill the device with any non-potable liquids, like acids, lyes, oils,
nitrates, etc.!

NOTE!

To reduce heating time warm water may be used. Time and energy
are saved in such way!

Put the lid on the tank and rotate it

clockwise to close the tank (bayonet lock).

Pay attention to position the steam outlet

hole in the lid in the front, above the fill level
indicator.

Connect the device to the single grounded socket.

Set required temperature in range from 30°C to 100 °C with use of temperature

control knob.

Turn the device on with use of ON/OFF switch. The orange heat up indicator will

come on during the heating phase.

The device needs approx. 35 minutes to boil water when completely filled. Then the

device switches to the keep warm mode and orange indicator comes on.

When water temperature in the tank drops to approx. 93°C, heating is activated again,

orange indicator comes on, and water is reheated to preset temperature.

Hot water may be used for preparation of required drinks (tea, coffee, instant coffee,

bouillon, etc.).

Keep in mind than various types of tea required different water temperature.

Follow the instructions on the packages.
