Operation of the appliance
WARNING!
Risk of scalding!
When the set temperature reaches over 60°C, the cookware becomes
very hot.
For removing hot cookware use dish washing cloths or kitchen mitts.
1. Plug the appliance into a suitable single socket.
2. Turn the appliance on with the ON/OFF switch by setting it in
“I”
position.
A red mains control light in the switch will light up.
3. Rotate the temperature control knob clockwise,
to set the required temperature in the range of
20 °C
– 80 °C.
The optimum temperature is approx. 60 °C. When
the set temperature is below 60 °C, the cookware
are not too hot to remove them manually and there
is no scalding hazard to fingers nor hands. The
food remains warm for a long time, when they are
served in cookware warmed to such a temperature.
The internal compartment temperature is evenly distributed by the fan.
The warming time is conditioned by various factors:
– material of the cookware and its thickness;
– number of cookware in the appliance;
– temperature setting;
– ambient temperature.
Thus it is not possible to define the exact time of warming. Taking the above factors
into account, the user may determine the right settings only during operation of the
appliance.
