6. Cleaning
CAUTION!
Disconnect the device from the power supply (unplug!) before cleaning.
Let the device cool down.
The device is not designed to be rinsed with running water.
Do not use a pressure washer to clean the device!
Be careful and do not let the water into the device.

Wash the device regularly.
o
Remove the device’s plug from its socket prior to washing. Leave the device to cool.
o
For easier washing, remove the whisks and lid from the container. Wash these
elements in warm water with a washing-up liquid. Rinse under running water in
order to remove all washing-up liquid.
o
Pour a small amount of warm water into the container after each use. This water
prevents any remaining milk and other substances from drying and sticking to the
Teflon coating. This makes it easier to wash the device, and during the next use
helps to avoid scorching of such substances.

Use a soft brush or sponge for washing the container. After washing, rinse under
running water.
o
Never wash the container in a dishwasher, as it contains electrical parts that may
be damaged if wet!
DANGER! Hazard via electrical current!
Never immerse the container in water or other liquids.
There is a danger of electric shock.

Wash the base with a soft, moist cloth. Ensure no water gets into the lower controller.
o
Use only soft cloths, never use harsh cleaners that may damage the device’s
surface and interior Teflon coating.
o
After washing, dry the surface of the device and polish with a soft, dry cloth.
