Prepare regular rice (not precooked)
Washing the rice before preparation makes it stick less to the pot but leads to a slight loss
of nutritional value.
Letting the rice soak 5-10 minutes before cooking makes the rice a bit softer.
1. Measure the required amount of rice with the measuring cup and fill the rice into the
rice pot.
2. Add the appropriate amount of water into the rice pot. The required amount of water
depends on the amount of filled in rice and may be determined using the scale in the
rice pot. For instance, if you want to cook 4 measuring cups of rice, you must fill water
up to the 4 CUP mark of the rice pot.
3. Place the filled inner pot into the outer pot close the lid. It must snap in noticeably and
audibly.
ATENNTION!
Make sure there are no crumbs on the outer side of the inner pot or on the surface of
the heating plate!
4. Connect the power plug to a power socket.
5. Press down the switch. The red indication „COOK“ lights up. Keep the lid closed
during cooking. The rice cooker automatically switches into warming mode after some
time.
6. Let the rice continue to cook under the closed lid for another 5 minutes before
removing it from the pot.
7. Press the locking button and open the outer lid.
8. Disconnect the power plug from the power socket.
Prepare pretreated rice (fast cooking rice)
When measuring the amount of water for the fast cooking rice it is best if you note the hints
on the rice packet.
1. Pour the measured amount of water into the inner pot.
2. Place the inner pot into the rice cooker and close the lid.
3. Connect the power plug of the device to a power socket.
4. Press down the switch. The red indication „Cook“ lights up.
5. As soon as the water is cooking, fill the measured amount of fast cooking rice into the
inner pot.
6. Close the lid and continue cooking as long as indicated on the rice packet.
