7.0 STARTING THE GENERATOR

5. STARTING THE GENERATOR
5-1. Remove all the loads from
ACsocket and switch off
the BREAKER.

Set the fuel cock to
“ON” position.

5-3. Push the choke lever to
“CLOSE” position.
5-4. Turn the engine swithch
to “ON” position.
5-5. Pull the starter handle until
resistance is felt, then pull it
out swiftly from original
position.
5-6. Once the generator starts,
gradually turn the chock
lever to “ON” position.

Remove all loads from the socket
and switch off the breaker.
Set the fuel valve to the
“ON” position.
Push the choke lever to the
“CLOSE” position.
Turn the engine or key switch
to the “ON” position.
Pull out the recoil starter handle
until resistance is felt, then pull it
out swiftly from its original position.
Once the generator starts,
gradually turn the choke lever
to the “OPEN” position.
The BG7000E is an electric
start model. Continue to turn
the key to “START” and release
when the generator starts. If
the battery is too weak to start,
the recoil start may be used.
