(e) Pitot Limits to Zero Airspeed (To set Airspeed to zero see previous section, Setting Pitot Limits)

Note:

The pneumatic regulators in previous versions of the DPS400 were unable
to achieve zero airspeed (0 kts or 0.0 inHg differential pressure) at high
altitudes. The user interface/control of the crossbleed solenoid valve was
modified to ensure against operator damage to the instrument of aircraft-
under-test while zero airspeed is set.

Caution:

Set pumps to ON. Maintain pumps ON when setting zero airspeed or while
testing with the zero airspeed special mode.

(If pumps are turned OFF during

zero airspeed testing, use

F4

to cancel out of special zero airspeed mode.)

If 0 (zero) airspeed is set, the DPS400 shows the following screens:
