THE BARDIC WARRANTY
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement
or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have
the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If the BARDIC emergency lighting fitting (the unit) is found to be
defective due to faulty workmanship or faulty materials used in its
manufacture (but excluding defects due to neglect, misuse or abuse
of the unit by any person) within twenty-four months of the date of
purchase, it will be repaired free of charge (except the fluorescent
tube and/or the incandescent globe which are not covered by this
warranty) or, at the sole discretion of the manufacturer, replaced. In
either case, return to the purchaser, freight paid.
Any faulty unit should be forwarded FIS to the point of purchase,
accompanied by the sales voucher to establish the date of purchase.
The unit must be returned with accompanying documentation which
clearly states the name and address of the purchaser and the nature
of the fault. If the sales voucher is unavailable at the time of claim,
the warranty will be deemed to have commenced from the packaging
date as indicated by the unit date stamp.
All warranty claims on the unit in question must be received by
the distributor within the twenty-four month warranty period. This
warranty does not apply to any unit which is situated outside of
Australia.
This warranty is in addition to all other warranties rights and remedies
implied by or available under any laws in force in Australia. Any civil
liability of the manufacturer howsoever arising shall insofar as the
same may be legally done be limited at the manufacturer’s option as
follows:
a.
Any liability for breach of warranty, subject to the said limitations,
is limited in a case of goods to any one or more of the following
(as selected by the manufacturer):
(i)
The replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent
goods; or
(ii)
The repair of the goods; or
(iii)
The payment of the cost of replacing the goods or
requiring equivalent goods; or
(iv)
The payment of the cost of having the goods repaired
b.
And in the case of services such liability shall be limited to any
one of the following (as selected by the manufacturer)
(i)
The supplying of the services again;
(ii)
The payment of the cost of acquiring those services
again; The manufacturer shall not be liable for any
indirect or consequential loss however and whatsoever
arising.
MPower manufactures a range of emergency lighting fittings without
integral batteries (commonly termed as Slaves), for operation in
conjunction with central power supplies.
MPower will not be responsible for any damages to slave units as a
result of connection to central power supplies operating outside the
voltage parameters specified for these slave units.

The Manual Test command is
acknowledged, the test will start imme-
diately battery is fully charged.
The Green LED, when illuminated indicates that AC supply is ON and the battery
charging circuit is functioning correctly.
The Green LED when OFF, indicates that the AC supply is OFF, or the emergen-
cy light is running a sentinel test.
The Yellow LED indicates that the Sentinel feature has been activated and the
LED is normally illuminated except during periods of test and mains failure.
